I’ve been looking at buying a Mini for my second car and wanting to upgrade from my first car that I currently have. Booked an appointment after I finished work and went with my mum to have a look and get some advice and help. The man who dealt with us (Andy or Phil it was one or the other) was far from helpful, didn’t seem the slightest bit interested in what we had to say. Told him what my budget was and what I liked but seemed to just show we cars that were way over my budget and not what I said I had liked, didn’t seem like he was listening. I showed him cars that I had seen advertised on their actual website for this particular showroom but just disregarded them. The customer service received was shocking, buying a car is not a straightforward or cheap process. I could have been looking to spend over 20,000 and this guy wouldn’t have known and his lack of interest certainly put me off. I would have thought that visiting a showroom where you spend so much of your own hard earned money, the customer service would have been a lot better. After then continuing to show me cars that weren’t in my budget, he basically kicked me and my mum out because he wanted to get home. Yes, I understand that people have their own lives outside of a job but the way he did it was shocking and especially when I’m looking to spend so much money, I guess I just take my money elsewhere. He then said he’ll get in touch and look for some deals, it’s now been over a week and still heard nothing. I’m not one to complain as I work in a customer based role myself and know what it’s like but when I’m looking at spending so much money in one place, I guess I expected more but my expectations must have obviously been too high for this place. I was hoping visiting here would give me some more guidance, but honestly it has just left me feeling even more confused and not know what to do.

Awful customer experience, overpriced until I showed a comparable deal much cheaper. Was then told they may be able to match but only if we make a deal today. \I need you to commit\. Massively pressurised sales tactics and felt uncomfortable going any further. Only went in for some figures left being told they cannot help me. Bad customer experience. Sales members body language from the start was like they didn't want to waste any time with us. Buying a brand new car is a big commitment and we want to know it is right for us not be treated like complete idiots. Bit of a shame as we were sold on the car, I'll take my business elsewhere I'm afraid.

Just bought a 2nd hand mini from Leeds Stratstone. Dealt with a nice sales lady called Csilla who we found to be extremely helpful, efficient and easy to talk to. Very happy with the car and the service. A couple of very minor hiccups during the sales process however these things happen and when we politely queried them they were rectified immediately and without question to our complete satisfaction so we felt compelled to leave a five star review. If you have a concern its always good to discuss it respectfully and give people chance to react. The car is absolutely perfect, my wife loves it. We would strongly recommend Csilla and the Leeds Mini team. Thank you.
