First time for me doing an escape room, we didn't even know it existed here til we got a gift card as a wedding present (which was a great idea) Did the Gunpowder Plot and it was great, made a few mistakes along the way but really tested your grey matter. Got out with 5 minutes to spare but wouldn't have managed it at all without the assistance of our games masters Olive and Ben. Lovely day out, couldn't believe this lovely bit of fun tucked away in the white rose. Great selection on the bar too!

This is a nice new place with a bar and 2 escape rooms including Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter, further rooms will be added in due course. Friendly helpful staff, nice comfortable seating area. Little bit on the pricy side

We did the Sherlock Holmes escape room and it was our first ever escape room that we have attempted! I must say it was very fun and plenty to keep your mind ticking over! Thank you for a fun filled evening.

Had two experiences at The Escapologist now, one for the Christmas Experience and one more recently doing the Almost Alice room... Both were fantastic and I would certainly recommend! Almost Alice was my first escape room and I absolutely loved it, we went as a family of 6 (2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 aged 8) and all really enjoyed the room and the clues. Some were tougher than others but all so well thought out and planned by the owners of the escape rooms. Also more than impressed with The Escapologist as a company, they've introduced lots of new aspects like the Citron Clear in each room and in the reception area too which is amazing!! They've taken all the extra precautions with these and sanitizers, but it's not taken the excitement away from the experience!

Absolutely fantastic. Alice in wonderland Olivia was our host, knows and is enthusiastic about the games. Very attentive. Definitely give it a go.

Had a great time there with my fiancee. We played the Harry Potter room, wasn't sure what to expect as in if it was a room with HP trivia needed to complete or just an escape room with HP theme, it was the latter. However it was still a lot of fun, challenging enough whilst also being engaging and funny in certain moments. All in all a fun experience and well worth the go, will definitely be going back to try the others. Also a shout out to Cam who was the only member of staff there (poor lad), but who was so enthusiastic and kind and made the experience that much better.

Brilliant experience in the Sherlock room - We managed to escape with only seconds to spare! Our host Jack was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to try our luck in another room! Would highly recommend.️
