Locally sourced produce producing locally developed products that are second to none. You can't beat the meaty and hearty pies. My pie for one was enough to feed two - perfect. Great value when either sitting in, taking away or having a meal or event delivered. AJ's Catering have even been a fantastic support to my grandparents who have enjoyed hot Sunday roasts and pies too.

Love Ajs. Whether it’s a cuppa and a piece of delicious cake with the girls (the rocky road and chocolate brownies are a particular favourite) or lunch with my daughter it’s so lovely to get a smile and a bit of chat from the team. The cheese scones are delicious, my daughter loves the cheesy oatcakes and you can’t go wrong with one of their specials.....especially a meat and potato pie. My hubby loves a good breakfast on the weekend too. It’s a family affair for us just like it is for the team there. They treat you like family.

Went 2 weeks ago after not going for a few years. It was average back then, but very depressing now. Asked for a glass of fresh orange and got a scratched up old half pint plastic beaker that was just over half filled. My husband had a pot of tea. Teaspoon was highly stained like it had been rough washed, and they shouldn't be allowed to serve the milk in the metal jugs, they have years of ground in dried milk that is stuck to the insides. Very dangerous! Husband ordered a breakfast and it was the most expensive yet smallest and awful breakfast hes had. Small portion and the eggs were so runny I'm surprised they wernt clucking! The cutlery was longer than the late was wide and for the price...astonishing and wrong! I had sausage, egg and chips. One small sausage, the same awful sloppy runny uncooked egg as my husband, and what they believe were chips. The only reason the food (minus the eggs which were slipped onto the paper towel we found) was because we were hungry, shame as we left still hungry and had to go elsewhere despite paying what we did. One thing to note, the lady serving only smiled and spoke pleasant with those she knew. If you're a regular.. the portion size is great...as we noticed with a couple of other customers. Very biased and wrong. It still makes me thirsty knowing I paid for a full glass of juice and got the best of 2 mouthfuls. Awful place and grotty. The only bonus was we sat looking out at the outdoor part of the garden centre.
