Ideal for all sorts of occasions, Monty’s Kingston has been doing the business since 1989 and continues to this day with a menu that boasts the most authentic Nepalese and Indian flavours in town, both traditional and modern. You’ll find Monty’s Kingston on Fife Road, a stone’s throw from Kingston train station and right in the mixer for all the best that Kingston has to offer. Monty’s is, simply put, very much a part of its community and the food and the service absolutely deserve an advanced reservation.

Fabulous chip shop. The best in Leek. We have from Monty's very regularly, never had a bad meal. Generous sizing and good value for money. The phone and collect system they now have in place (due to covid) is fab. I call up, select a time to collect our food, and I'm in and out of the shop in minutes! No waiting around or queuing outside! :) The staff are all super friendly and chatty too. 100% recommend.

Filling and healthy portion of fish and chips. All fried separate from meat - been searching like crazy. All staff very helpful and friendly. Two large cod with three large chips fed five very hungry stomachs. All, not the stomachs, cooked fresh on order. Great value suggested by the older member of staff. The syrup pudding with custard highly recommended, but with cream just as delicious. They take bookings, so hoping to have our last supper Saturday night.

Before the lockdown Monty's established itself as a chippy with reputation for quality food and fast service. During the lockdown, I've been immensely impressed by how efficient and seamless their service has been. They were one of the first businesses to adapt to the rapidly-changing criteria of the lockdown and have never failed to deliver the same delicious food at the same fair price, in a stunningly short time. Long may they reign :)

It's one of the best fish and chips place. They manage to get it right every single time. The staff there are very friendly! Quick service. Took the lunch meal deal where you get small fish and chips, mushy peas, buttered toast and coffee/tea. What more can you ask for on a cold day in Leek. All that for 5.90. it's a bargain!

Jusy called in 18.10 this evening only me in, no one collecting or ordering I was told at least 30min wait due to phone orders, shame It was a very good chip shop. But they can't cater for walk in theses days.
