Arrived bank holiday for quick snack, thought we ordered from the 2 for 1 meals but was told its only the ones with the little icons by them so watch for that, we decided to change the meal, bearing in mind it was a busy day and even a half conscious manager would have got supplies in, but there was no fish, no pasta, no steak, no apple juice for cocktails (the jubilee cocktail ) , the chips were not edible unless you want a serious blockage, the fishcake was all batter , all in all a terrible meal

Nice friendly bar, just starting to have live music.
A tasteless pub for tasteless people and that's without mentioning the food. It has what you would expect from a chain pub, standard drinks, not many real ales. Food is edible but it's very much a beer n burger menu. The bar is long but the service can be slow. There is plenty of seating but the layout is perculiar, to say the least. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of tvs, which show sky sports. Its an ok pub during the day and a loud irritating bar at night. If thats what you're after, the engine room is for you. Although it's closed now, for the purpose of history. The food here was very underwhelming, there are much better places to eat in Leek. The drinks were it's only saving grace. If I had to choose between here and Wetherpoons, I'd be at spoons.
Clearly understaffed; 30 minute wait for lukewarm poor quality food. Rugby on TV (Only positive) - but sound on very loud not subtitles.
I've been nowhere near the place poke it !
Below average.
This pub claims it serves all day food and you will have to wait all day for it. The potato to your leek in a very average pie.
