While Tim was great, I don't know how he could stand working there. Sue at the front desk was a train wreck as was the case manager who did NOTHING. Got my loved one out of there!! Even if the staff were good, the place was so dark and dingy that it was really depressing. There is no comparison to the place I moved her to....

My parents were both in there in the memory care unit and we had high hopes that what was promised would come true. Sadly this was not to be.We were told stories of remodeling which never took place in the almost 2 years they spent there. Ownership changed just after they moved in and some of the best staff there left because new management or corporate thought they made too much. Turnover in staff was incredible and constant. many of the staff were constantly on their phones and more often than not there was a looonngggg wait to get at the door(which in all fairness I must say got better in the last 3 months my mother was there) and at times had to call the front desk or walk over to the main entrance to get in. Some of the staff was excellent but most were mediocre at best. Cleanliness is not really a thing there.

I first walked into Grande'vie and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who got me exactly where I needed to go. The Sales girl Misty was plesent and friendly. Definitely not pushy and knew everything about the community and was an instant click. When walking around everyone was cheerful and stopped to say hi. I ran into all the Directors and a lot of staff members who were walking with people and laughing. While we were walking the community I was blown away by how the staff was celebrating someone's birthday! The community life department made cupcakes and were knocking on the door and sang the lady happy birthday with such feeling it made her and me cry. This place just instantly felt like home. The areas were freshly remodeled and are looking great! I was so thrilled to have walked in here!
