Alpen Periodontics has been very helpful and personable. They were very good at explaining the procedure and putting me ease. Dr. Francis has a great bedside manner. He is personable and kind with his patients, and he explained things as he went along. The assistant, Emily, was also terrific. She answered all of my questions before and after the procedure. Dr. Francis called me within 24 hours to check on me and answered all of my questions. The information sheet they give you after the procedure is also very helpful. I've referred to it over and over. But, even then, I know that I can call them if I have any other questions or problems. Thank you, Alpen Periodontics! I would definitely recommend you to anybody looking for great care.

The staff is friendly and helpful and Valene, who does my cleanings, is just wonderful. I've had some bad experiences in the past but she's always painless and a joy to visit.

I recommend seeing Dr. Francis for any of your gum needs! He is a fantastic surgeon. Very particular which is what you want in a periodontist! Anna is great with insurance and with helping patient figure out what their cost will be!

1. Found out my “really easy surgery” was only about 50% successful. 2. Got poked and pinched in the lips at least a dozen times by sharp tools. My gums were numb but my lips were definitely not! 3. Had to yank two stitches out of my gums myself that were left behind from the post-op visit. 4. In the final followup visit, my gums got a slight cut from the mirror they shoved in my mouth to take the after photo. Not a great experience for me. I’ll go somewhere else in the future.

I had an amazing mountain bike accident while riding in Moab in May, and I managed to fracture the root of my front tooth. Dr Francis is absolutely amazing and with the latest practices and procedures, was able to make it so my implant looks identical to my real tooth. This was very important, as I do a lot of public speaking and I wanted to make sure that I would not only look the same, but that I would be able to speak the same. I can't recommend Alpen periodontics enough. If you are looking into implants, do it the right way and go through Alpen. I promise that you won't regret it! Thank you for the new smile!

Made what otherwise would have been a very painful and unpleasant experience VERY comfortable. Procedures of this nature are rarely pleasant, but they made it way better than I expected it to be. They listened to my concerns, constantly made sure I was not in too much pain, and have helped me feel a lot better about the state of my overall dental health. Great office, great people. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing periodontal services.
