We just had the best experience with Bones in the flooring department. He answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond to educate us on the choices we had and the pros and cons of each. Never before have I felt like I was truly learning about the products, not just being “sold” like you get everywhere else. He took all the time in the world with us to make sure we were confident in the decisions we were making. I’m 100% going to seek out Bones for any flooring choices in the future - what an absolutely delightful experience!! Bones is the platinum standard.

Everything was pretty good. One of the employees was bothered that i was taking pictures for google. I was bothered that he was bothered. We bought a bunch of light bulbs and the demos that show the kind of light wasn’t really working. That was frustrating because we had to guess what type/temperature light to get. If we got it wrong I will need to make another trip.

There pretty good. Helpful staff, lots of items to choose from. Very unremarkable when it comes to stores, but they do well enough

I'm a home builder and I much prefer going to Lowe's over Home Depot when it comes to getting in quick and getting out. The staff is very professional and the stores are clean and very bright. And easier to find someone to help.

I’ve been here a lot over the last few weeks. It’s been hit or miss. Leonard in garden was super helpful, as was Drew in plumbing. Paint however, no one was there and when someone did come they ignored me for a minute even though I was waiting at the service desk part and he was literally behind the counter.

I always shopped Home Depot, so I skipped Lowes. I was in for a surprise. I wanted all new Schlage door handles replaced in my home. I didn’t really want to order all these but found Lowes had everything I needed in stock. Yes all the new Schlage locks cost more than other brands but they are so sturdy, heavy and no plastic. Also cool was that if you ever had a kid in a locked room who couldn’t unlock the door, no worries as one only has to just push the handle on the inside down and it just unlocks. I did spend an extra 45 minutes checking out the place. It does have many items or brands vs it’s competition the same but also so different . So if you want something or it just doesn’t make your list, check both stores. These employees know there stuff and it is also clean and well organized. I was wrong that both big stores carried the same items. This was cool to find out the differences.

I like going to the hardware store. Lots of great ideas of projects I would love to try. The downside to these mega hardware stores is that the size and quantity of products can be a little overwhelming and finding help is too difficult. Not enough staff to help all the customers with questions and too many staff that actually seem to avoid helping customers (walking away as we approach, merely pointing in a general direction, some even seem to hide out in lesser-used areas of the store.) I did have one very helpful person in the cabinets section that was willing to take a moment to build a quote for me, though.

Not inexperienced at buying lumber, I came here for a few pieces for a project. I choose my lumber pieces and went to get it cut. It was difficult to find an employee other than at the front cash register to ask for help, and when I did, he informed me that I got 3 cuts. Not 3 for each piece of wood, 3 total. I have never had any other store be so uptight about the number of cuts, and I couldn’t even pay for more. I was planning on cutting down the wood at home anyway, but hoped they would give me a head start. It seems like they prefer to force people to buy the shorter cuts of wood at a higher price. I have rarely had such a uncomfortable and frustrating experience. I guess I will be going to the other big box home improvement store just across the street from now on where I don’t have to worry about if I’ll be able to fit the lumber in my car after my 3 cut limit.
