Daily and Monthly transaction limits are way below industry standards. Decent rates. Website not as user friendly as the large banks. Customer service is pretty quick. My account got locked out because an unknown person tried my password and failed too many times. I'm guessing the security isn't as good as big banks.

We got a loan through a dealership and they sent it to UCCU because of their rates. We live in Salt Lake and drove down to Lehi to set up our account. They ended up sending us a cute thank you card and gift card.

By far the poorest customer service I've ever encountered at any financial institution. My automobile loan was set up on automatic payments that were initiated monthly by UCCU for payment from another financial institution. All is well for 9 months then I receive a text message advising me that I had missed two payments and the account was being sent to collections. UCCU knows about this problem (see post from about one month ago from another customer with a similar problem). UCCU insisted they had made no mistakes, but would make a one time exception and waive the late fee. Well thank you very much... what did I do wrong? I proceeded to close out the account after a two day marathon and being transferred to numerous people. Finally they said a check was being mailed for the account balance. Two weeks go by, no check, I call and am told it would be at least 90 days to put a stop payment on the check and reissue another. Really, really glad I am done with them. I have over 50 years of banking experience and have never been treated so poorly. I am adding another incident on google reviews from 4 years ago. Jonathan Harris also gave UCCU a one star rating for an identical issue. Should be bells and buzzers going off at corporate, but they seem to learn and listen not...... One last and final edit... Please read the response the "owner" of this financial institution gave. Thank you for asking me to "except" your apology. Grammar like this, affirms my decision to walk away....
