Private and relaxing setting which creates a non-intimidating atmosphere. Instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming. An excellent dojo for both the newly minted and seasoned martial arts practitioner.
Great dojo with great instruction by Dave Shihan who teaches for his love of martial arts. Nestled away in a beautiful private dojo he built himself. Small classes with multiple disciplines (Aikido, Jujitsu, Kempo). You feel more like you are with family rather than at a business. Highly recommend.
A beginner or a skilled martial arts practitioner will all find something of value in this dojo. He teaches because he loves it. He built the wood and glass dojo in his backyard because he loves it. The business of martial arts is not important here. You will find peace and effort and focus.
From the moment you walk towards the Dojo to the moment you leave you feel at peace. Very relaxing atmosphere. He is very diverse and articulate in the way he teaches. Amazing teacher.
