I have meant to leave this review for quite some time but better late than never. My sister passed away in December 2019 and I have to say the care and attention to detail given by Diana and the team was second to none. We lost our dad a year before and although we were happy with the funeral directors we used, we wish we had found Buckminster first. Nothing was too much trouble and Diana particularly went the extra mile. Not had to organise a funeral in my life other than my dad's and sister's and hope not to for a very long time again but wouldn't hesitate in recommending Buckminster. A belated thanks to you all.

Absolutely impeccable service from Buckminster funerals who I entrusted with my late father during Summer 2020. I highly recommend the service provided and also the overall cost which was very competitive. The latter can be very important, it has to be said, especially if there is a sudden death in the family and you are concerned about the cost of a funeral. It can be very stressful especially when emotions are high. It was the first time I had had to arrange a funeral and I met Simon Cotton literally just as my father had died and I was not really 'taking much in' because I was completely numb. Nothing was too much for the team (Diane, Paul..), they are all extremely empathic individuals, everything was punctual for the funeral and as I live abroad responses to my emails leading upto the funeral date were immediate and my phone calls were always answered after about 1 ring!! Buckminsteralso ensured that all the logistics concerning my father's post mortem examination went to plan and without any issues. They were also able to fetch and safeguard my father's ashes until coming back to the UK (Covid restrictions). Finally, Buckminster put me in contact with a wonderful gentleman called Martyn Stokes for a non religious funeral service. Nothing was too much and he was very patient with me (I was having trouble writing the eulogy due to emotions). When I couldn't find a good quality excerpt from the 1966 World cup final ( England against Germany) for my dad's funeral service, Martyn made sure he found one !! The service Martyn gave was excellent, he is extremely articulate with a beautiful voice and is able to speak of your loved one as if he knew the person himself!! The whole team have been extremely professional, I highly recommend, and you won't be disappointed!! Sarah.
