Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I was in Leicester on business and found myself in Oadby. Booked a table at Cheikho's and didn't regret my choice. Seafood marinara was sublime. The tiramisu was awesome. After the meal we spoke to one of the owners for a good half hour. We had a great conversation. I will definitely be going back on my next business trip to the area. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

We came here for a family meal on a weekday and booked last minute (an hour before) and although it was booked via a 3rd party app (meaning the booking wasn't confirmed by the restaurant), the owner/manager was VERY accommodating. We were given a table straight away and the food on the menu never fail to impress us. It was full of flavour, very generous portions, the wine was great and the service was second to none. We had ordered a dessert and although the ingredients were not available to make the dessert, we were not told we couldn't have the dessert, instead the chef dished up a dessert that wasn't on the menu (owner checked this was OK first) and it was AMAZING!! Nothing was too much trouble. The ambience in this place is also really nice. My wife loves this place so much that she has mentioned to friends this is the place we will take them when they visit us in Leicester. Highly, highly recommend this place.
Tasty food and really nice cosy, homely surroundings. My salmon was tasty, but the \home baked bread roll\ that was served with my starter soup had one burnt part. Don't understand why this was served as it was clear to see by anyone. Initially gave 4 stars but have now decided to amend to 3 , due to the bread Manager/ waiter needs to be understand that when a customer presents a card for payment, he is not to take it away, to the counter, but, what he's meant to do is bring the card reader to the table for contactless payment. I've no Idea why he took the card away, and then after payment, gives a note of advice saying that we need to be careful of giving a card away for payment!!! He did this with another customer too.
Beautiful food, atmosphere and A star service. A hidden gem, looking forward to coming back. Very generous portions, also a great range for vegetarians, bring your appetite! Thank you for a great evening
