Great people, I like the ethical energy move. Only problem is I was with utility warehouse before for years with average bill of 140 including Internet. Now I'm with octopus, is average 145 with just energy alone. My dad moved to these too from eon and is now paying more. The day we finish contract we will move from them.

Customers are often slow to write positive reviews but quick to leave negative ones. I wanted to add my thoughts as a customer of Octopus. I love how flexible and innovative their tariff's are. I started on the normal flexible tariff but wanted to switch to Agile which is what I joined Octopus for. No problems....all done online. All automated. Saved about 25% based on my previous tariff and due to how the tariff works, I was much more aware of my own usage. Come winter and we have a perfect storm (pardon the pun) of high demand, low production and costs go right up. So I contact Octopus. Switched over to Go which is another innovative tariff but then find out about Go Faster! Even though I switched over two days ago. I email them and they switch me over to the Go Faster tariff. Tell me another company which has such innovative tariff's and able to be so flexible in their approach? Letting me switch between four tariff's in less than three months? I'll wait...... If you have a smart meter and are looking for a company that really pushes the envelope of the energy market using technology. Then Octopus is the best company out there at the moment!
Best energy company I've been with. They have always looked after me. Cannot fault their service & prices. Would be insane to go with anyone else. Well done Octopus.
Been contacting them since I have installed my solar panels (this was at the end of October). I have provided them all the documentation for the outgoing market. My solar panels have been producing energy since then but, at today, still none of them contacted me to sort this out. The Octopus selling department told me that the outgoing department will contact me soon, (this was in late November). I was contacted on the 28th to be told that they will sort this out in the afternoon of the same day or the morning after, and yet nothing. WHAT A SHAME!
I switched to them from EDF energy, because of customer service and price, in the year I was with them they failed to send out my smart meter monitor so I could see my usage and my bill went up significantly. I've now switched again in hope someone else can give me a smart monitor!!!! I'm now 130 in credit but unable to get these funds back.
