South lodge is a fantastic place for both the people who live there and the people who work there. All staff go above and beyond to care for the residents and to support family members. The management team are fantastic and there is a manager in the home 7 days a week to support all. The food is cooked by a team of excellent chefs and is incredibly tasty. All staff are warm and welcoming and will tell you how much they enjoy caring for the residents. Training for staff is to an extremely high standard and further learning for staff is actively encouraged and supported

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, place is 5* food and service is amazing and beautiful served. The Appartments are well equipped and staff are trained to a very high standard. From cleaner,Reception,kitchen Assistant, Carer to Manager is very professional and knowledgeable. Don't always go on cqc reports see for yourself how 5* South Lodge is. With the covid pandemic the house informs all relatives on the next steps they take and are doing amazing with the garden visits to keep be socialising. A massive well done to South Lodge Care Home for Keeping Every safe and well.

I came to south lodge in February for 4 weeks to help them out, the manger was very welcoming and the staff was to, They all deliver 100% care to all residents and we look after there family too, so I moved care home to work at south lodge and I have enjoyed every 5 mins of it. The management team are brilliant and Kerstin and the customer service team are brilliant too. they have got us all through the pandemic and made everyone at south lodge safe. The food is lovely. Activities are good and the residents enjoy them too

A wonderful place to work, both staff and residents are going through a very hard time at the moment with the Corona Virus, however the whole home is pulling together and helping each other out, lovely place to work, lovely residents who live there.
