Anne-Marie is very passionate about her teaching and she expects the best from her trainee teachers. Her knowledge and application of yoga philosophy, physiology and anatomy are outstanding. I am very grateful for what I have learnt during my training with Anne-Marie. I am certainly going to treasure, deepen and share that knowledge with my students. The Sun Power Teacher training course is undoubtedly very intense, so be prepared to work hard, not just on the training days but throughout the duration of the course. However, this course is also very rewarding and what you learn will stay with you forever.

I guess I am one of the success stories of Anne-Marie and Sun Power Yoga. I took the course back in 2004 and boy did it raise my game. I learnt so much and became a different level of teacher. The standards and expectations are high but they need to be to produce knowledgeable teachers. Anne-Marie’s knowledge is truly awesome. As a result of the course my teaching business grew and client base expanded and I now teach at and own/direct the award winning STAMFORD YOGA LTD with over 10 teachers - 3 are SPY teachers ! Anne-Marie taught me flair in yoga teaching. She mixes the ancient, the modern, the discipline and the humour all into one. Sun Power is a great style. It’s one of the favourite classes at my studio. Respect Anne-Marie and her trainers. Come with open eyes, ears and heart and a strong work ethic and you will walk away with great dividends to add to the path of your yogic journey.
Thank you very much Anne Marie. I enjoyed this whole experience, it was life-changing for me. I learnt so many things in detail. I am sure it would have been different if the lessons were face to face but you put so much effort to make us feel comfortable that we never even realised that we were not together. You are not only a great teacher but a source of inspiration for me. The course itself is engaging, insightful and a lot of fun and the materials you have provided are really helpful.
I trained with Sun Power Yoga and am so glad I took the course. The expectations are high. As is the standard of teaching. This is not a course where you pay for a certificate. Anne-Marie is not afraid to fail a student that isn’t ready to teach others. She can be a task master and can also be incredibly kind. The days are long but rewarding and you will make friends for life. If you are serious about being a great yoga teacher then I can totally recommend the course. Before doing any Yoga Teacher Training you should always attend a taster session as everybody is different and some will need a gentle softly softly approach.
My experience with Sun Power Yoga was incredible. The training was really in depth and rigorous and I came away feeling confident that I would be able to teach a wide range of people. I made some wonderful friends on the course, most of whom have become successful teachers. I am so happy that I chose sun power yoga and Anne-Marie to be my teacher. She is a really inspiring woman.
