The tune that can sometimes be heard is 'Dona nobis pacem', meaning 'Grant us peace'. You can sing it as a 'canon'. The church was damaged by the gunpowder disaster on January 12, 1807. Half of the church was a goner, but the tower was still standing. Lodewijk Napoleon (the brother of) helped rebuilding the church. On the website (choose Dutch) of this church (Historie kerk) you can find this history. Before the gunpowder disaster the church was in use as a hall where textile was inspected. The explosion was like hell, but it brought heaven back to the believers, as it meant that the church was given back its original destination. Later on, it also meant the building of the Kamerlingh Onnes Laboratory, on ground zero, where, in 1908, it was the coldest place on earth, when Helium was liquefied there for the first time.

Nice bright Catholic church. It offers mass in English every Sunday evening
Had english mass at 6pm every Sunday. Very open to new people. Have many other activities.
English mass at 6pm every Sunday, except for the Summer when it'd be closed. Alternative would be the Church of Our Saviour, Den Haag.
Beautiful white church on the inside. They do an English mass!
