After spending my whole life at an excellent GP practice I was very reluctant to leave. I have high expectations and Bassett Road has surpassed my expectations, it is a GREAT practice. Everyone is friendly and helpful, I am treated respectfully as an equal partner in my care. The practice is well-organised and efficient with GPs having experience in many specialities and patients are directed to the appropriate doctor. I can't rate them highly enough (I am speaking as a health care professional myself).

Short and spiky hair, old woman at reception is the rudest person I have ever dealt with (AKA Karren). I recognized her voice over the phone as I'm a tactical customer and she was extremely rude in that occasion as well. Just an old miserable human being, who is sadly discrediting this facility. Doctors and nurses have always been lovely.
Appalling service. Have been trying for 4 days to get a medical examination for the DVLA. they’re always away from their desk and never return your call. Absolutely disgusting service!
Doctors and nurses are good, but receptionists are rude and unhelpful. Online repeat prescriptions are not always available and require an appointment to reactivate. Redicilous for a life time condition that is monitored and managed through the hospital and in which the surgery receives a letter twice a year.
I've always had really good services from Bassett Road, but today they surpassed themselves! I went into the surgery at 12:10 pm to see if I could get an emergency appointment or phone call as I felt that I may have an infection brewing. I'm on chemo so have to get on top of things quickly or I end up in A&E. I managed to catch the 'sit and wait' clinic so I was booked in there and then, saw the GP at 12:15, she sent the prescription for antibiotics to Tesco and I was there and home by 12:40! Thanks to everyone at the surgery - you're all stars!
