I've been to the Cock a few times and have always been pleasantly impressed with the food, service and drinks. However, today we were told there is a 1/2 hour wait, we were absolutely fine with this. 1 hour later the waitress tells us our ticket never made it into the kitchen. An additional 20 minutes later our food is served but they had messed up my order and missed both the bacon from my burger and onion rings. When the food finally came out corrected the chips and onion rings weren't cooked through! It's such a shame as the pub is a lovely pub.
Food isnt great bar service however is spot on
