Never rent a property from Connells! Their customer service is dreadful when it comes to the tenants, as all they want to do is please the landlord in order to keep their revenue coming in! Months of waiting for repairs to hot water and heating, even with a child in the property, and then when you finally move out they delay the check out report by just long enough to prevent you from being able to use the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to settle their made up claims. (the check in and out reports carried out by Connells matched so there should have been no claim against the deposit, but three months later they make up claims in order to not repay). Avoid, Avoid, Avoid....

I have given one star because there is nothing lower ! We are renting for 1200 per month and for that we have been lied to from there agent , saying things will be sorted out in the property, since we have moved in they managed to get a radiator on the wall, but the rest of the things that need doing have been left., on viewing the property we were told all the thing that needed to be done will be done, on moving in and asking when these things are going to be done we were told you viewed it like this !! Great attitude! Now when we speak to these agents were told that they said nothing of the sort., what a bloody cheek and we're paying 1200 a month ! For the money we're paying the service is appalling . I certainly won't recommend or use this awful company again . If there is anyone that knows a way to get out the contract let me know

Avoid this agent like the plague! They over promise and under deliver. Not only did they provide a terrible service to me and mess up my sale, but when I kindly offered to pay 50% of their fee, they threatened to take me to Court! I refused to pay, so they issued an intention to start Court proceedings letter. I asked them to at least speak with me over the phone about my complaint but they refused to do so. They were extremely aggressive overall and all they cared about was getting their money (which they didn't earn in the first place as I had to deal with the entire case and the conveyancers!) They didn't care about me or my complaint at all. It's a real shame but I guess this is what some corporate agents are like... do yourself a favour and avoid them, there are much better agents out there.

I rented a property through Connells Canterbury Lettings - they where nothing short of shambolic and I had to chase 5 seperate times to get my deposit back and it took over 5 weeks even though I left the property in A1 condition. AVOID using this 'company' at all costs
