Jus personal experience wiv Crombie House over the last 31 years
Would give no stars but had to leave one for review. RUDE RECEPTIONIST LOST PAPERWORK I've had no apologies for losing my paper work and the staff simply dont care for their clients. STAY AWAY if you can
I have been attending Crombie House for quite a few years. Yes they are busy, yes the poor staff are overworked, yes there is a wait for treatment. BUT they care, and the grass isn't always greener, my experience of Bucks MH care was much worse, and I got passed from pillar to post all the time. Here there is continuity and that goes a long way for me. You need to own your own care anywhere you go in the NHS, here is no different.
I would love to give 5 stars. Unfortunately as a patient I have now been forgotten. I am close to loosing my mind once again. Periodically diagnosed as alcohol dependant. Periodically diagnosed with bipolar. Periodically diagnosed with emotional personality disorders. Given olanzapine and forgotten. No follow up in a year. Why, simply because our health service is overstretched. No problem though, I won't be around much longer.
An absolute shambles! My other half has been 4 times for what seems to be 4 evaluations so I presume they are either completely thick or keep losing the paper work every time. Don't wait for them to ring you arrange an appointment as they quite simply won't, you'll have to do that yourself. Would recommend anyone wanting a diagnosis or effective treatment to go elsewhere as this place will only stress you out.
