Purchased a timing kit mid July, fitted it and then find out the pulley is too wide! Only found this out after it caught on the mount, created heat through the belt and snapped! Purchased an INA kit and that pulley is correct... So a top end rebuild down thanks to shoddy parts by FAI!!

I have used FAI parts in my workshop for more than 2 years. I was quite happy with their products and as my business grew I required increased supply of parts. I contacted FAI looking to open an account, while on the initial enquiry the sales rep was very nice, then he just sent me to another third party supplier. On multiple enquiries asking to deal directly with FAI as we use at least 20-30 timing chain kits per month, the sales rep just ignored all emails and would not even bother to reply. I find that this is a terrible and very unprofessional way to do business. If you are not happy to open an account for a customer with a monthly spend of 10K, then just reply, it takes less than a minute, but ignorance is what will make your company fail in the future. I found another supplier who is more than happy to take my business onboard, so I am delighted I will be NOT dealing with FAI anymore, as this attitude shows that you are not a serious company, but just a bunch of amateurs.

Just rang in to ask about some info about a car part. They didn't want to tell me nothing and treated me like I wanted to steal their company 'secrets'.. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will be using Ultra Parts now.

DO NOT USE!!!!! Products are of very poor quality every time I have used them and they do not honour any warranties when you contact them, always using an excuse. Have bought parts where they have failed within 2 weeks, and they are not interested in reimbursing you for any labour work. Buy better quality parts trust me it will be more expensive but will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
