Banked commercially with Lloyds since 2004 used this branch locally since then & with lloyds personally all my life. Needed to get some ID & proofs verified. Nobody wanted to help, the irony being one was a Lloyds bank statement. Everyone was rude that I spoke to especially girl on deposit desk and seemed quite smug with it. Poor service, massive culture change there, will only use when I must. Lost their personal touch!

Senior staff are clueless with regards to online customer service requests. I was requested to travel to the branch to confirm idenitiy, however the issue was with address change (thanks impersonal/impractical online banking services!). Staff changed my address and instructed me to reapply. Couldn't reapply due to pending application. Now told that Saturday isn't a recognized 'banking day' so have to wait until Monday. The phrase \time is money\ comes to mind, and you've wasted both for me! Nice one.

I have been a customer of Lloyds Bank for 30 years and have recently left them due to a lack of support when you actually need it from your bank. I still have my Savings Account here however. Last week on raiding my piggy bank as advised by Martins Money before the 1 is taken out of circulation completely I went into Lloyds LB to change it. Apart from Paula who is ALWAYS very personable here and asks me how I am (and my Son who banks here) they were totally miserable. I accept I was cutting it fine and appeared with plastic money bags of change for cashing up at 16:25 but I always believe I give a customer first class service no matter whether its the beginning or end of the day. The lady had very long blonde hair and made me feel unwelcome and a total inconvenience. Pretty glad I have defected to Santander to be honest...

Local staff are constrained by the Bank's arbitrary rules which completely ignore the customer. Now you can't pay in more than 10 bags of coin per day. Absolutely ridiculous and just means a second trip to the bank.
