Very pleasant ambience. Lovely server. Cauliflower Starter sent back, was not worth 5.50, look at the pic. Got delicious halloumi instead. Burger was fine as you can see. Husbands pie looked great. Brothers sausage and mash was okay. The sea bass also looked okay. Pleasant afternoon. Three stars because it was all alright.

Nice and pleasant. The food was OK, everything else was good. The food choices were good, the delivered food was good. Could have been great. Great looking pub, great location.
Lovely location, great staff and all the Covid measures managed well - feels safe but unobtrusive. The food is nice enough, but not great value. We know this is a Greene King issue and not the pub itself but it does affect the rating. Our starters were nice but tiny for around 6 each and the main courses were hugely bulked out with lots of boiled veg/chips. Other chain pubs offer better value - we paid 110 for a nice but not spectacular pub lunch for 4 with mainly soft drinks, a bit steep.
Visited for the first time couple of weeks ago on a hot Sunday, after a trip to Rushmere Country Park. The service was fabulous. I didn't have to go in so can't tell anything about the inside of the pub as we sat outside and ordered via the app. The food arrived very fast, considering it was 4:30pm on Sunday. Great food great service great surroundings happy customers We will be back :)
The surrounding is really nice. Staff is very friendly and attentive. If the service would be a little more organised, it would be excellent. Parts of the order were forgotten. I can't blame them though, with all the covid restrictions and rules in place.
Great food in a lovely setting overlooking the canal. Unfortunately quite a few menu items were unavailable. Service was fairly slow, but the food tasted good. Would have been 5 stars if my first choice menu items were available. Would recommend.
Still a nice pub, but sad every pub is now falling under the green king banner. Pubs are loosing their individuality, all the menus are the same where food is microwaved and not cooked to order.
I love this place, staff are so lovely and nice relaxing by canal. But they're not managing their tables and clearing as well as what the could be. Server was lovely but she kept touching my shoulder, just made me uncomfortable due to the situation. Also, they have a one-way system inside thats not enforced, the door host was like yes, but customers do what they like.. sad to witness their lack of responsibility.
