We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week in Dower Cottage in June 2020. It was wonderful! The house really felt like a home and that is rare in rented accommodation. It was very quiet, tastefully furnished, light, modern, well equipped and very spacious. All the rooms were large, including the en-suite bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. We had our own gated entrance, a large patio with table, chairs, two lovely sunbeds and our own enormous walled garden. On two evenings we strolled along the back on the beach to the neighbouring campsite restaurant and ate delicious pizzas cooked in a wood burning oven whilst gazing at the sea. Their cream teas looked tasty too! We would highly recommend this cottage and would love to stay there again.

We stayed in Dower Cottage, Nr Thorpeness and had a wonderful few days in August 2020. The property has been beautifully furnished, is immaculately clean and very comfortable with large light and airy rooms. The large, private walled garden has a wide terrace and we felt very private. The setting is truly magical, so close to the beach and within walking distance of Thorpeness where we had fun on the Meare and enjoyed food at the Dolphin Inn. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.

We have used Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages for the last three years, and have always experienced a level of service that can only be described as exceptional. Like a very large number of us 2020 has been a somewhat hard one, and it's not finished yet. The year proceeded to carry on with it's awful news when 6 days before our holiday, the owner of the cottage we had originally booked, removed it from use due to the Covid-19 thing that's not going away just yet. The news hit quite hard, as this holiday had been keeping us going, and it was to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary. To say it left us both rather flat is not an exaggeration. Elizabeth said that there was only one cottage which matched our dates as unfortunately these are inflexible. Then wonderful news, we had the other cottage, it's bigger, more expensive and we have not been asked to pay the extra. This situation was completely outside of their control. We arrived at our new cottage to a wonderful surprise. A lovely bottle of Champagne and an absolutely gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Thank you Elizabeth and ALL the team. You are simply amazing x
