Good for kids
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
What a fantastic little place, we decided to show our children where power was generated and show them something new (as seeing wind and solar farms was getting a little boring according to my eldest) I was a little worried that we were going the wrong way and was expecting to end up with security chasing me off the site but that’s what makes every day different so, when we arrived it was very quiet so we got out of the car to check and they were open, so we then entered into the visitors centre and after 60 mins of activities with our two and talking with the staff as well as asking our own question the kids wanted to stay the night there with toilets just in the back and a classroom next to the visitors area we can see that group visits could be accommodated. Thank you to the staff for being accommodating and filling our kids heads with cool facts and telling us how the fishes were being looked after (27th Sep 2018).

Great visitor centre and tour. The tour was more in depth than I expected which was great and it was good how they show the redundancy they have in case of failure as well as how the station functions especially getting to go inside the turbine hall. Claire was very friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth which made the tour enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it. Booking wasn't hard, just needed to make sure there was enough time before the date we wanted to go, so the security checks could be done (think they say up to 6 weeks).
My friend and I did the tour of Sizewell B and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! For a free tour, I wholly recommend the Sizewell B tour... All of the staff involved, especially our tour guide Julia, were incredibly knowledgable and could answer any and all questions about nuclear energy, the plant and EDF. The tour was varied, well thought-out and interesting throughout - we got to enter the turbine halls and even hug the turbine! The tour is free, we were on-site for 3.5 hours and received a free hot beverage. Fantastic day.
Worth dropping into if you are in the area.
Fantastic explanation and tour. Need to book well in advance for security clearance. Quite a bit of walking inside and out between buildings. Our tour was about 2.5hr, plus 45min introduction, really good: remember to ask plenty of detailed tekkie questions!
Interesting visit. Nice setup. Explains how nuclear power works in a nicely proactive way
Not well sign posted from main road but once on site good tucked on the far side of the site. Very good staff knew details about the site and process of making electricity. Plan well ahead for guided tour. Worth a visit even without the tour.
Very interesting. Informative and friendly staff. Thanks for your time
