Popped in mid week for a pint whilst walking the dog, its a really nice traditional and well kept pub- with good beer. We also ended up booking Sunday lunch which turned out to be the best we had in a long time! loads of gravy- in a jug not poured all over your dinner! (she likes it more than me, but i had the lovely horse radish that also came with it) everything was cooked how it should be. it closes at 3pm every day, which they are very clear about, so no surprises- we will be back!

Best roast dinner in the area. Good choice of ales make this pub a winner. Also dog friendly in the bar area is a big bonus
