We come every year for a family day out. This year we hired a boat and a kayak for our 14 year old. He fell in!! But is still laughing about it!! A fantastic day out. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful costal Suffolk village .Busy but not crowed .Spots can easily be found on mostly shingle beach to have peace and quite.Boating lake a must. Great fun and safe being only 3ft deep but covering about 60 acres. Two cafes one being more up market but both serving good food.Lovely windmill and house in the clouds .
While we have not been on the boats here, we live to visit and sit by the pond and feed the geese, ducks and swans. You can buy bags of duck food which the swans and geese love too in the shop nearby. The swans then surround you and if there are baby swans (cygnets) they come super close too. It's a great way of connecting with nature and getting super close to swans. Be warned though that it is advisable not to feed to them from your hand and simply to sprinkle on the ground since the way that they peck could unintentionally cause harm so make sure to be careful if feeding with children around and always do under supervision as the swans can be very intimidating otherwise. A short stroll to the beach makes this a great all-round place to visit with convenient parking nearby.
Boating lake, great fun for the family. Around 5 per person for the hour. I think an hour is needed. Recommend taking a picnic but there is a great cafe onsite. Parking is available for a reasonable cost across the road to the lake - pay and display
We love it here! Love going on adventures in the boats finding different islands. I will always remember doing this as a child and having such a great time, and now take my children here too. Lots of fun had by all every time. Great for a day out! We have come here to celebrate many different birthdays throughout the years!
