Surprisingly large boating lake in the centre of Thorpeness. Lots of parking nearby which is reasonably priced (just over 2 for four hours). Public toilets are available too. Apparently the boating gets very busy at peak times. We didn't queue to get a boat (10:30am Tuesday end August) but there was when we got back. At 18 an hour for two adults and one child in a rowing boat it wasn't unreasonable. The lake is so large you never really get close to others. There are moaring points and small buildings to look at around the lake.

Lovely village dominated by the Meare and House in the Clouds. Visited on a Saturday morning and it was already busy. Well worth a trip and some really good photographic opportunities.

The owner of the business is very lovely! Had such an amazing time out there! It’s so so beautiful and definitely worth going to! I would recommend this to families, tourists, couples, groups of friends! Anyone at all! It’s the perfect activity for anyone, any weather.

Thus place is where Peter Pan was created. With Wendy's House etc set in a huge, beautiful area. Don't forget parking change, and the cafe queue in Covid 2020 is long and slow, so be prepared. Lovely views, and \friendly\ swans.

I absolutely adore this place. Although it can be quite hard to park in peak and sunny times. When you can get parked it's lovely. You can either go and swim in the sea or chill out. Or you can wander across and hire a boat for a few hours. The house in the sky can be seen from the boating lake which makes for gorgeous photos. It doesn't cost much to hire the boats either. You can then wander around this gorgeous town and if you come across the Dolphin Inn you must go in!. Lovely decor and a great atmosphere. The food options are estatic and the beers and drinks are lovely.
