Our 9 yr old daughter took about 6month lessons with John before we moved out of state. His lessons are very specific to the student's needs - patient, funny, loving. John always took time to explain things to me, the parent, too. Even if we had stress after school, the guitar lessons with John or a collegue switched her back to a positive, calm and happy attitude -ready to get to the next task. Lennox school of music has a couple of nice studios and you'll learn from teachers that have been doing this with passion for a living. And maybe you'll even meet them one night live in rock 'n roll action playing out at a bar or restaurant downtown.
