Don't know why this hiden gem didn't show up when I google things to do at Port Aransas. Definitely a must-go. Even without a telescope you can see many birds! Just see my pictures. BTW, here it shows again everything is big in Texas, like this gator...

Several varieties of birds and even saw a quite large alligator. Kids loved. Easy access and parking.

Very nice place to do photography ‼️Saw three whooping cranes off in the distance. The only thing I don’t like is the sewage aroma‼️I think the gator, who resides there, loves it though.

Beautiful spot for looking out over dozens of coast birds. Love it in early morning. Wildflower gardens and native trees at the beginning. Gators, too, lizards and butterflies and other pollinators.
