I had another great training session at the Lethbridge Boxing Club this August 22/2020 afternoon! In particular my focus mitt 3 round session with trainer Ben Laverock. I have had many trainers hold the mitts for me over the years but I have to admit, Ben was amazing. I was particularly impressed by his knowledge of combinations and his ability to create really interesting ones. Noteworthy were the blocking and then offensive combinations rooted in the same arm that just blocked a punch. Great stuff and stuff that a boxer will use in a bout. Great job Ben! I appreciate the knowledge and the introduction of excellent useful punching combinations.

Rick's the man. Great Coach. You can tell he's trained a lot of fighters. He doesn't overcomplicate things or add too many things to fix at one time. He keeps it simple. Plus he's funny .
