Sylvan has been a major positive influence on my child's education plus they help me advocate for the supports he needs in school. The people at Sylvan truly care and look out for the best interest of the children. They continuously go above and beyond my expectations. My child began working with the tutors at Sylvan in late December. He has improved by one grade level. Sylvan has designed a program and supported my child so he can develop the skills he needs to learn; he is a more confident student. Thank you is not enough to express how grateful I am.
My son loves his Sylvan day's ! His reading is continuing to get better and better. The staff are amazing! Caring, friendly. We also did 3 weeks of S.T.E.M summer camp. Both my kids loved the building and learning.
Sylvan is a game changer, it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our child. My son has a speech disorder and as a result has a very hard time learning to read and write. This leads to huge frustration in all areas of his life and requires multiple levels of support in and out of school. Add this to the fact he could be the most strong willed child I have ever met and you can imagine our struggle to find resources that actually worked and he would participate in. We had a bit of a rocky start (as predicted) but now he runs into the building excited to get working and learning. He feels very successful and proud of the work he turns out, it’s such great feeling to see his confidence increasing. Nancy and Polly are exceptional educators and have bent over backwards to accommodate my son. They communicate regularly if something works or not, include any suggestions I may have-I don’t doubt they would do kart wheels if that was was the best learning tool for my child. In the last 2 months we’ve gone from not even being able to identify letters to reading simple sight words. It’s an investment that is already paying dividends, I would recommend them, and regularly do, to anyone whose child needs extra support to get to the next level.
