MADE BLUE is located in Leusden, Netherlands on Eikenlaan 41. MADE BLUE is rated 3 out of 5 in the category fund-raising in Netherlands. Made Blue matches the water used or saved by companies, products or services by creating clean drinking water in developing countries: 1 litre for 1 litre. Water needed for creating products such as soap, clothing or a cappuccino and for realizing services such as cleaning or events is made available in the same quantities in developing countries. Companies tell us that, by partnering with Made Blue they gain valuable insight into their water footprint and enhance their brand value, whilst contributing positively to the availability of drinking water elsewhere in the world: every time you enjoy a hotel stay or a fresh orange juice, Made Blue simultaneously ensures as many litres of clean water elsewhere. By now Made Blue has realized over one billion litres of clean drinking water in developing countries, enough to serve over 8000 people for a year. International brands such as Quooker, Eurest Compass, Mövenpick, Initial Hokatex and Electrolux have already joined. And start-ups such as Bundles and Veri Soda. At Schiphol airport Made Blue ensures that the total drinking water footprint of all beverages sold by Starbucks and La Place is mirrored by making the same amount of water available elsewhere. From clothing brands to cleaning and from hotels to catering: Made Blue enables companies invest in their brand and contribute to the availability of drinking water. Further, through Made Blue they create added value by strengthening relationships with stakeholders about a crucial topic - water. The transparent and efficient way of working resulted in a B Corp certification for Made Blue little over a year after startup, joining a select and inspiring group of social enterprises such as Tony Chocolonely, Waka Waka and Triodos Bank. Also Made Blue was awarded a spot on the Sprout Challenger50 2015 list, preparing for our first steps abroad next year. By then we plan to grow to a network of 100 organisations and entrepreneurs.
