Balmaise Community Centre serves the Northern part of Leven (with Leven Centre at Broomieknowe) serving the southern part. Balmaise centre has 2 halls with one having a stage area. Both are available for hire at cheap rates. The central reception area also has a small cafe selling hot drinks, cold drinks & confectionery, but it's opening hours are limited. The upper floor of this community centre houses the Broom Community Flat which supports local residents.
