Highly recommend these little cottages. We stayed here for three nights and are already planning on returning as we didn't get to do everything we wanted to during our stay. They are perfectly located for walks in Ashdown Forest, the South Downs, Lewes, Hove and Brighton and numerous beautiful National Trust houses and parks. The village pub, shop and bakery are only a 15 minute walk away, while the cottages themselves are on a tranquil and beautiful piece of land including some woods, from which you get beautiful views over the Ashdown Forest. The accomodation is extremely clean and comfortable and perfectly set up for some self catering (although we chose to eat in the many wonderful nearby pubs instead). Tina the host is also on hand to give some really useful tips. We cannot wait to come back!

Absolutely charming, clean and spacious farm cottage!!! Two big double bedrooms and ample parking, with friendly horses onsite to go see. Amazing little retreat with all the amenities . Highly recommended
Our host Tina made us welcome from the moment we arrived, the site was very well managed to be safe in times of Covid with all necessary precautions in place. The cottage itself was beautiful and comfortable to be in and oh so quiet. It was a so relaxing to be here for the two nights we stayed and the surrounding areas were lovely to walk through. Not 2 minutes from the cottage and i could see deer no more than 100 yards away. I would highly recommend the cottage and plan to return in the future.

Badgers Rest is a lovely, tranquil place, yet convenient for Brighton, Lewes and even south London - we have had many stays there, and the accommodation is superb. The host could not be more helpful. Looking forward to our next visit!
Very homely. Path is a bit bumpy but accommodation is second to none.
