Highly recommend bill's, such lovely and friendly staff. From the moment we walking in we was greeted and they interacted with my 4 year old (who now insists we go back every morning). The food was brilliant also, but it was the staff there that will make us return very soon.

I visited at the end of September for my husbands birthday and ate from their eat out to help out menu. I hadn't visited for a while as we were dissatisfied on our last visit there. We picked from their set menu. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I didn't feel like what we chose was any different from their a la carte menu so that was great. Service was good as always and new corona guidelines have been implemented so we all felt comfortable and safe. Just one thing that let's the flagship of Bills down is the disgusting toilets. The positioning of the till on the walkway through to the toilet is unavoidably tight so no social distancing. The toilets themselves always have loo roll and paper towels every where with water all over the floor. They have been like this for such a long time, they really need an upgrade so that they are accessible for everyone. Because the door opens inwards if you are larger than a size 12 it's very difficult to get into the cubicle. If you get this sorted then you would be getting another star.

Best stake I have ever had! Yes, they didn't have my steak and egg order, but I was there in the late evening on a busy day! Despite this the staff were amazing and incredibly friendly. The decor was amazing, so vibrant and full of colours! Plants and plastic horses! Every corse I had was the best I've had in a long time. The option of new exotic drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic, was a refreshing taste to the usual bog standard pepsi and coke. All together live my evening; will definitely return again!

Great Full English Breakfast - but could eat two! On a Sunday morning, there's nothing to beat a Full English and Bill's in Lewes is a good place to head. The cafe is lively and the theme very rustic and colourful. My only concern is the authentic feel to Bill's has become too polished and you just need to look at the size of the portions to know there's some out the back with a set of scales and tweezers to count the baked beans! Only four stars from me as there's scope for improvement - the feels of authenticity.
