Did watercolour course with Michael Cruickshank. Very good tutor and full of tips to improve my work. Beautiful home and well worth checking out the website for the open day tea & cake days once a month.
This is a hidden gem. The most beautiful art gallery located in a stunning garden, with a tearoom offering the most delicious homemade cakes ever. A real treat and feast for the senses. The artist owners are a delight and so welcoming (as are their friends that sometimes help out there). I can also highly recommend their courses - which cater for all levels - including beginners like me. The art gallery is 'soul food' - offering beautiful paintings; prints (framed and unframed); cards and beautiful hand made painted lampshades. The most beautiful outing - even just for a cup of tea and cake and stroll round the garden and gallery. Cannot recommend this highly enough - though selfishly I really don't really want to have to share it with too many people!
A very relaxing garden to sit in and walk round. You can have refreshment there too. We also enjoyed the gallery.
Beautiful art, delicious cakes, very friendly people, stunning garden
Lovely pictures in a beautiful setting. Wonderful reception by the artists Michael and Emma. Well worth a visit.
Vanessa has just returned from another educational, fun and relaxing day at the gallery. Emma and Michael were welcoming and entertaining. Their food was fab. The tutor knowledgeable and interesting. Their venue relaxing and food fab. Vanessa
Just completed a fabulous and educational workshop on growing vegetables. Beautiful and relaxing venue, welcoming hosts with fantastic home made food. Interesting and fun workshop from a very knowledgeable tutor. Returning next month to learn how to grow flowers to cut for the home, can't wait!
