This has to be the dirtiest Costa I have even seen, as you can see the tray was not even wiped clean. Nearly all the tables had used cups, trays and rubbish on them. The area behind the counter was no better, I would like to have asked when some of the surfaces were last clean. As for the cloths used to wipe the steamer, I have seen clean oily rags. one member of staff just walked about smiling, as if everything was fine, but did not seem to do any work.
So far most useful being indoors and close to car park, good if quiet however there seems to be plenty of staff there. Sometimes can be busy though their recent refurbishment has changed it to a little more seating areas, all good stuff.
Terrible Costa coffee and enough to stop me going to Costa again. The staff member that served me, clearly had a cold, with a bright red nose, they were coughing, sniffing and were just clearly ill. They then proceeded to make our coffees whilst wiping her nose with her hands, and then touching the coffee ground that was being used for our coffees. The coffee had limescale floating in the top and the latte had absolutely no foam so the milk wasn't heated in the correct way. Honestly, one of the most disgusting experiences and we ended up leaving our coffees without being consumed. I'd avoid it here.
Very useful and lots of indoor seating that gives views over the river here this time. Also inside the store so next to supermarket things too.
