Nicely presented ruins of the old Lewes priory. Good access (including wheelchairs) to most of the site and a large grass field to play on. Would have got 5 stars but unfortunately many people walk their dogs here and there is frequently a lot of dog mess.

Beautiful ruins, with wide, undulating grassy areas for strolling and picnics. Some shady spots to be found under the trees and a few benches along the path provide places to sit. If you need facilities, there is a cafe and toilets in the nearby sports pavilion.
Free open place with ruins of monk's Priory. It's a nice walk with plenty informations panel about the place. It has 2 entrances.
A lovely walk
Interesting information about monks taking a poo and the story of the ruins.
