Beautiful, well run, haven for animals in the Sussex countryside, which is free to look around. Great for adults and children. Lovely tea room and charity shop. Well worth a visit.

A large site with a variety of resident animals and those waiting on homes, all well cared for in enriching and spacious enclosures. A shop full of animal supplies, a cafe, a charity shop and a great place to walk around including a duck / goose pond with provided corn to feed (don't feed bread!). Entry by donation. Please support this wonderful charity where you can.

It was lovely to visit Raystede again this week before it has to close again. There was a one-way system in place and pre booking ensured numbers were controlled. They will continue to provide emergency care for animals in need, even when their gates shut to visitors.
