Amazing old classic home cooked pub food which doesn't cost the earth. Served in a family friend village pub which is worth a visit anytime of the day, set in the peaceful, charming rural village of Chiddingly . I've been visiting it for years and it's a place I haven't told many about, but it's worth sharing

Perfect for a meal and a drink. Excellent food, lovely service and a good range of alcohol and other beverages. Its not a place for those who cant live without checking their phones every two minutes. Love it.

This was our first visit to this pub, the covid rules were good & we felt safe, as for the food my husband had a chicken & mushroom pie which was the best he's ever had, full to the brim with meat. I had a vegetarian cannelloni which was also very good. We will definitely being going back on our next visit to the area.

One of the best countryside pubs hidden in the village of Chiddingly Sussex. If you want live music & good beer make sure you pay it a visit. Great freshly cooked food, a must is the cheesy garlic bread with a cold pint. Super friendly staff. Bikers haven, plenty roll up on a Sunday Rideout.
