Great area for kids and adults to pick up park information and check out the Corps of Engineers information. Very kid friendly. Weekend hours variable.

Cool visitor center with a great educational experience about the workings of the dam. Extremely clean and well maintained, the staff here was very friendly and helpful. Not a destination in itself, unless you are really into waterworks, but a nice place to kill a 1/2 hour with the kids.
