Best Metro park in the Columbus area. It has elevation change and a great hiking loop with an overlook trail add on. The nature center had a great spot to watch the birds or read a book and it's good for kids! There's a pet/bicycle/skate trail around the north outside edge of the park.

It's fun to get lost and find your way back to where you started. (Before it gets too dark.)

Gorgeous escape into beautiful nature 20 minutes from the city. What I loved about this place was that once inside it's really hard to believe how close to the city this is. Great trails and I love that there are pet-free trails. I am a pet owner myself but I recognize that not all pet owners are responsible and having some dog free trails is fantastic.

I love this park. I grew up going here and they have so much to offer. Hills and rivers. A nice over look where you might see bald eagles. Several different trails you can hike just one or link up several different ones depending on how far you want to go. The nature center is great too. I used to come here all the time and they've made new updates to educate people on the terrain and how it formed and what it's made up of. Great park.

A great place to learn about the outdoors with the family! There are exhibits about the area's ravines, concretions and live animals like snakes and frogs. There is a children's play area with puppets and puzzles, and a library filled with books about all sorts of natural topics! Birders and other wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the wildlife viewing areas. There are also restrooms available if you need a break during a hike. The hours are 9-6 from October through March, and 9-8 from April through September. (The Nature Center always close two hours before the park closes.)

Great place! Nice trails, something for everyone. Dog trail is fantastic. All kinds of terrain and interesting lookouts. Cool visitor center. River front access for aquatic adventures.

Absolutely recommend this place! Nicest nature center I’ve ever seen. There’s a big library with a fire place and rocking chairs and couches. Saw lots of animals through the windows including a turkey and baby raccoons!

Columbus/Franklin County Metro Parks are a jewel. Absolutely rock. Central Ohio is fortunate to have such a resource!
