Today was my first visit at Northstar Family Dental in Lewis Center, and I left feeling great. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and I felt comfortable during all interactions. The facility is well-kept, welcoming, and provides a calming atmosphere. The staff made efforts to ask me questions that made me feel like they were truly interested in me as a person and as a patient. Also, they provide beverages and snacks, which added a nice touch of comfort. I won’t hesitate to return.

I came in with considerable pain for my first visit. They were able to see me right away. The entire staff is so welcoming. Dr. Otieno and Dr. Park really took care of me and not only got the immediate issue resolved as quick as was possible, but there is a solid treatment plan going forward. I've put off regular dental visits in the past, but I feel confident that I will no longer do that thanks to the environment at Northstar.

I chose this dental practice as a change from the practice I had been going to for years in Powell due to it's close location relative to my home. The facility is really new and nice and the staff was pleasant. The reason for my poor rating and why I would not recommend this practice is due to what they tried to charge me for unnecessary dental work. One of the young dentists looked at my teeth and wanted to put 3 crowns on my teeth. The total cost out of pocket was going to be around 2200! I told them I would discuss and get back to them. In the meantime I went back to my original dentist (Powell Dental) for a second opinion. As I said I had been going there for many years and the idea of crowns had never once been brought up. When my dentist checked my mouth she said everything looked great! Why no mention of needing a crown let alone 3 crowns! I would not ever again go to Northstar Family Dental. Beware they do not have your best interest in mind but are more interested in lining their own pockets with your cash!

This place is quite welcoming and had an amazing staff of personable and kind individuals. Honestly never experienced a dentist office atmosphere like this. I am thankful for kindness when dentist offices have not been my favorite experiences in the past. The work they did matched their professionalism.
