The Birria beef tacos was so delicious. The beef was tender and quite flavorful. My only complaint is the dipping sauce was a bit watery and bland. However, I would still gladly return.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, then this is your place! Steak tacos are fantastic! The Lexington Park burrito is humongous and delicious! Great authentic food for a great price! Servers have all been very happy to see customers and I swear they never have a bad day!
Absolutely love this place, you WILL be waiting for your food, but it is because they cook to order...making the food fresh and delicious. You WON'T regret it!!!!! My fav restaurant in all of SOMD!!!

Why in heaven's name have I not been eating here! This place is so underrated and under-visited. The food is delicious. I had the half chicken plate and the wife had the flautas. (Something to note: I didn't see it on the menu but you can swap out the flour tortillas for corn if you prefer them as I do.) We also sampled the chunky guacamole as well. Super delicious. The salsita bar is small but what they had was also very good. My only small teeny issue with the food is that the rice and the beans were under salted. BUT, it's easier to add a little salt at your table than try to remove it after the fact. If you have that south American grilled chicken urge down here in Southern Maryland, you should be coming here if just for the flautas. Anyway, now that I've found this place I am most definitely coming back.
Holy moly this is good! We ordered through a delivery app, we got carne asada, carnitas, a huarache, the queso with chorizo, and desserts (flan, churros) & drinks (jamaica, horchata). My husband is originally from mexico City and im from texas, so we both have our own ideas about mexican food. This place satisfied us both! The carne asada and carnitas are cooked PERFECTLY and we are very, very happy. We wished there was an option to order sides of SALSA like hot red, habañero and green salsas, also to get more limes with the order. The guacamole is great! Very fresh. I can't remember if extra tortillas was an option but we'll look next time. The sopes looked good but I couldn't order the trio without picking 3 flavor options but each option added 14.50 to my ticket so I skipped it. Hopefully it gets sorted out! This is going on our permanent rotation for sure.
The pupusas: amazing. Horchata: refreshing. Service: efficient. Easily the best central american cuisine restaurant in town.
A hidden gem. Some places you drive by and say "nah", but this place is worth the u-turn and worth the wait.
