Been a few years since we visited here so when we were in the area we called in. We went in what we thought was the main entrance. It was the shop entrance. My husband, being the chatty type told the lady at the desk that the last time we were there you could look at the pots being made and there was a tea room. " You still can" she replied. When asked if we'd come through the wrong door she replied "not necessarily" . Very helpful. We went next door to the Chocolate Factory and had a cup of tea in there instead.

Closed when we visited at the weekend but on the list now for another visit. My wife has quite a few of their teapots already from Teapottery days and I notice they are still using some of those designs.... Peeping at the shop, through the window!! Worth a visit. May have an onsite café still, judging by the coffee brand sign outside.

It used to have a lovely cafe but that seems to have disappeared. Very disappointed

Love this place ! The art work is amazing and is nothing like a standard tea pot. When you enter the building there is large workshops which shows you how they paint , make moulds , add details and put the tea pots in the kiln. Then you will enter the shop where you are able to buy the tea pots and can go to the small coffee shop. Small children would have to be careful as they may accidentally knock over one of the tea pots because any damages must be paid for.

Teapots are terrific for making a perfect cuppa. The Teapottery is where they make a perfect teapot. If you find yourself in Leyburn - NorthYorkshire call in and see how they make them. You won't be disappointed.
