Stopped here on our way to Ayesgarth. Lovely pub friendly staff, great atmosphere & the food was amazing. Would definately recommend x

Loved it , wonderful outside seating area, some of it under cover of a very substantial wooden gazebo type structure with infa red heaters. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the beer was delicious. There's plenty of car parking too. Next time we visit we'll have to try the food, if it's as good as everything else it'll be superb.
Excellent country pub in the delightful small Wensley village. Good selection of beers and lovely grub. Packed with locals from the farms and stables on a Friday evening so need to book but well worth a visit.
We enjoyed the lunch and beer however we felt uncomfortable as the landlord behind the bar wasn’t wearing a mask as required....he was serving drinks at table again with no mask and collecting empty glasses with his fingers in the glasses and not hand sanitizing each time glasses were collected then serving drinks... All Demarkations were in place but actions worries us that the virus can be passed on due to lack of hygiene in this area.
Great Sunday roast, just as I remembered it and great value. Friendly service as well and perfect Semer water. What more do you want from a pub!
