Great little hidden gem. Great for a pub lunch. Owner is welcoming and will give you an interesting history of the village. On a good day, sit in the garden and soak in the views.

Stayed in Horsehouse over Christmas, went to the pub many times, it is fantastic. Bruce the publican is a legend.
A very pleasant and traditional pub in a lovely setting. Landlord is a lovely character and added to the experience. Great beer also. We will return on our next walking trip to the Dales.
Not a big choice of beers but the Theakstons is a lovely pint, what makes this place special is the welcome from Bruce the landlord.
Lovely place. Marvellous landlord. Wish he could have stayed open a bit longer in the afternoon.

I was almost lost when they asked me where am I going to! I am going to eat, the best lunch that I taste it! I am brazilian and recomend.
