If you want to have long hikes or just short walks, Yorkshire National Park is one of the many places I would recommend across England where you can get beautiful landmarks combined with amazing scenery. If dare challenging yourself I would definitely recommend Yorkshire's Three Peaks.

Fantastic part of the country. The scenic drives are lovely with some great views over the Dales.

Lovely walk for the family even if it was very wet when we went although it's was quite because of this. Also meant they was a lot more water flow down the waterfalls then normal! Definitely recommend good walling boots as some parts are difficult to walk on. When you go on this walk for the first time when you get over the hill you think that's it but be warned that's only half way you still have lots more to see!!
