I asked for help from the Regional Center with my severely autistic daughter over a year ago. I was told to go through this place to get my daughter into a group home. My doctors advised that that would be best for my mental health. The Regional Center said Medicaid has made cutbacks but with notes from our doctors we should be approved for funding. They have now went back on that. They are forcing us to go through their in home care program in an attempt to save money. My family has already tried in home care and it was a huge disappointment. I've been taking care of my daughter for over 21 years. If you need help, this is definitely not the place to go. You will be let down.
